Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi has blasted President Buhari’s aide, Lauretta Onochie over a photo she shared to motivate her followers on the use of facemasks.
AllNews reports that Onochie, while encouraging the use of face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, shared a photo of children with cardboards as facemasks.
Her caption read "WEARING A MASK IS NOT A POLITICAL STATEMENT. It’s NOT PUNISHMENT BY GOVERNMENT PROTECT YOURSELF. Wear one. These have made efforts with masking where those of us who are more vulnerable & susceptible to COVID-19 are still swearing that it’s a scam. God bless their efforts”
The photo did not sit well with Adesua who described the presidential aide as a "local and international disgrace".
According to the beautiful actress, Onochie should rather think of how best to tackle poverty, so that the children can be protected against COVID-19.
”You are a disgrace. Both home & abroad. You should be ashamed that these children have to do this with cardboard. Instead of talking about how to tackle poverty so they can be protected adequately against the virus, you’re spewing this nonsense," Adesua wrote.

A few weeks ago, singer Wizkid blasted Onochie who berated him over his remarks on call for an end to Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
In a renewed #EndSars protest on the micro-blogging platform, the 30-year-old singer slammed Buhari for his 'nonchalance' over the issue.
Condemning Wizkid's remarks on her Twitter page, Onochie referred to him as a "dumb kid" for slamming the president.
Reacting, the "Joro" crooner slammed the president's aide, saying "lol a 77-year-old man is not young ma.. You are a woman and a mother and kids are getting killed by police/sars and this is all you have to say? shame on you!!! shame on you!! I am a father and age has nothing to do with demanding for a better governance in my country!!"
