Nollywood actress and former model, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, has revealed some interesting facts about her 25-year-old marriage to Captain Matthew Ekeinde.
Speaking with veteran journalist Chude Jidenowo, the mother of four said that she and her husband are partners, and they both have a journey that they would make with or without each other.
According to the actress, their marriage is not treated like a sacred thing untouched because they both respect each other’s space and choice.

In the video shared on her Instagram page, she wrote, "We are partners alright and I have a journey, I chose to make that journey with you.
“You have a journey, I chose to make that journey with you. With or without you, I will make my journey. With or without me, he will make his journey.
The couple met in church in 1994 when Omotola was sixteen and Matthew twenty-six. After two years, Matthew proposed to her and they tied the knot.
Although they got married in 1996, it was not until 2001 that they had their dream wedding with a number of friends and family on board a Dash 7 aircraft while flying from Lagos to Benin.
In the course of their 25 years marriage journey, they have been blessed with four children; M.J., Micheal, Princess, and Meraiah Ekeinde.
