Ghanaian rapper Shatta Wale has set his beef aside with Burna Boy to hail him for his musical exploits.
In a Snapchat post, Shatta Wale said that even though he is no longer on talking terms with Burna Boy, he is so happy to see the ‘African Giant’ succeed.
“Laad Gad my friend who was to be and no more my friend is killing the world - Even tho we don't talk, am so happy to see him succeed!!
"Shouts to Burna you burning it ..Love,” he wrote.
In January 2021, Shatta Wale called out Burna Boy for being ungrateful and trying to destroy his name and brand.
The Ghanaian singer expressed his disappointment in Burna Boy for not having the courage to approach him as a friend to solve any issues they might have had.
In December 2021, Shatta Wale claimed that Nigerian artistes do not promote their Ghanaian counterparts and were not appreciative of the support shown to them by Ghanaians.
Following his statement, Nigerians took to social media to drag him, including Yung6ix who said that Shatta Wale's attempt at pitching Ghanaians against Nigerians is a lost cause.
Reacting to the issue, Burna Boy challenged Shatta Wale to a duel if he has a personal problem with him.
