Nigerian music sensation Tems had an exceptional moment over the weekend at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
Tems bagged the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ award courtesy of her exceptional vocal and writing abilities on the Future’s chart-topping hit ‘Wait For U’ featuring Drake.
This marks her first Grammy win and also becoming the first female Afrobeats singer to have a Grammy.
In videos making the rounds, the ‘Free Me’ singer was seen exchanging pleasantries with international music icons at the ceremony.
One of which was DJ Khaled.
The music icon hugged her and told Tems that he is a fan of hers; also, he made sure to introduce her to his wife.
Tems also exchanged pleasantries with Mary J. Blige and Rick Ross.
