He was born on May 21, 1997, in Lagos state. He has both his primary and secondary education in Lagos. Upon completion of his secondary education, he proceeded to bag a degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Lagos.
Joeboy started singing at the age of 16 and dropped his first single ‘Gbeseyin’ when he was 17.
He later released the cover of Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Shape of You’. The cover received positive review home and abroad. It was the cover that also caught Mr. Eazi’s attention.
He is currently signed to Gorilla Sauce Entertainment, Banku Music. Joeboy’s songs include; Baby, Faaji, Beginning, Call, All For You, Same Question, Impatient, and others.
