1. N-Power Batch C: FG Announces Next Stage Of Enrollment For Stream 1

The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, has announced the next step for the N-Power Batch C Stream One applicants.

In a statement on Sunday evening which was signed by Nneka Ikem Anibeze, the Special Assistant on Media to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, “shortlisted applicants should check their respective email addresses for confirmation and for further information”. Read more here.

2. Bitcoin Price Steadies After Anonymous Group Threatens Elon Musk

The hacking group Anonymous has issued a threat to Elon Musk, accusing him of liquidating dreams and “destroying lives” with his tweets about cryptocurrencies.

The decentralized group  in a video released on Saturday said that the “carefully curated” image of Elon Musk is getting exposed, and people are “beginning to see [him] as nothing more than another narcissistic rich dude who is desperate for attention.” They shed light on many things people may not know about Musk, including how he treats his employees, harms the environment, where his fortune came from, how Tesla actually makes money, and his attempt to centralize and control bitcoin mining. 4. T.B. Joshua: Worshippers, Residents Weep Over Demise Of World Famous Pastor

Worshippers at The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) were on Sunday thrown into deep mourning over the sudden death of the Founder of the church, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua.

5. TB Joshua Dead: Church Confirms Pastor’s Sudden Demise

The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has confirmed that its founder, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua, is dead.

Joshua died on Saturday evening in Lagos, Nigeria, after partaking in Emmanuel TV Partners meeting, where participants received new anointing water and sticker as well as a touch from the Ondo-born televangelist. Read more here.

6. NYSC Scheme Makes Nigerian Youths Imbibe Spirit Of Unity – Coordinator

The Coordinator,  National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Jigawa, Hajiya Aishatu Adamu, said the scheme has made Nigerians youth imbibe the spirit of unity, mutual understanding and love for one another.

Adamu stated this during a Unity March and Cultural Carnival organised by corps members in the state to mark the scheme`s 48th anniversary at the General Yakubu Gowon Orientation Camp and Sports Complex on Saturday in Dutse. Read more here.

7. Twitter Suspension: UK, EU, Others Call For Dialogue

Governments of the United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Republic of Ireland, Norway, and those of the European Union (EU) have called for dialogue in resolving the Nigeria-Twitter faceoff.

The Nigerian Army (NA) says its troops operating in Owerri, Imo State capital on Sunday, foiled an early morning attack on the Imo State Police Command, killing six assailants.
