The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated President Muhammadu Buhari on his 78 birthday today.

3. Lagos Government Directs Public, Private Schools To Vacate On Friday

The Lagos State Government has directed that all public and private schools in the state should vacate by Friday, December 18.

The Director-General of the Office of Education Quality Assurance, Ministry of Education, Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, gave the directive in a statement titled ‘LASG directs schools to vacate on Friday, December 18, 2020’. Read more here.

4. 'Buhari Bring Back Our Boys', PDP NWC Protest Over Abduction Of Katsina Schoolboys

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  has taken to the streets of Abuja to protest the abduction of the Katsina schoolboys.

Speaking during the protest, the Chairman of the Committee, Uche Secondus noted that the protest was a peaceful protest and that all the party was demanding was that Buhari ensures the release of the abducted schoolboys. Read more here.

5. DJ Switch Set To Address ICC

Popular Disc Jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has revealed that she would be speaking at the 19th assembly of state parties to the International Criminal Court.

6. Kankara Abduction: Boko Haram Releases Video Showing Seized Schoolboys (Watch)

The Abubakar Shekau-led faction of Boko Haram has released a video depicting that it has custody of the students abducted from Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, last Friday.

7. Kankara Abduction: Benue Gov. Orders Closure Of Boarding Schools

Following the abduction of students at Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has ordered that all boarding schools in the state be closed.

Ortom disclosed this on Thursday when he visited the Maximum Security Custodian Centre (MSCC) in Makurdi. Read more here.

8. Another Lawmaker Dumps PDP For APC

Sam Onuigbo, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the ruling All Progressive Party (APC).

9. Omah Lay, Tems, Others Arrive MMIA Lagos

Nigerian artist, Stanley Omah Didia also known as 'Omah lay', Temilade Openiyi, 'Tems' Muyiwa Ayoniyi, and others have arrived at the Muritala Muhammed Airport Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35 pm.

AllNews had earlier reported the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems in connection with violating the COVID-19 rules of Uganda and their release two days ago with agitations from Nigerians which had prompted the government to swing into action. Read more here.

10. 2023 Presidency: 'Even Tinubu Cannot Stop Me'- Bamgbose Boast Of Victory Ahead Of Election

The National Coordinator of Concerned  Advocates for Good Governance (CAGG), Olusegun Bamgbose has boasted that he will defeat Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the 2023 Presidential election.

Bamgbose who is also a member of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), boasted that he was well-prepared to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari as the country's president in 2023. Read more here.
