Lateef Adedimeji

Lateef Adedimeji was born on February 1, 1986 in Oshodi but raised in Jakande Estate, Isolo in Lagos state, although he is originally from Ogun state. Lateef had his primary and secondary education in Isolo before proceeding to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun state, where he bagged a degree in Mass Communication.

In 2007, Lateef Adedimeji started out as scriptwriter and TV Presenter on Orisun TV. He also worked for ‘Community Life Project’, an NGO, as a scriptwriter. Owing to his ability as a script writer, he was opportune to work with UNICEF on a radio drama titled ‘Omo Catch Up’. Following the success of the on-air drama, Lateef landed a job as a scriptwriter for ‘Sababi’, a program on Orisun TV, the program aired for 2 years. He also worked as a presenter of ‘Miliki Express’, a talk show on Orisun TV.

He got his big break when he got his first major role in ‘Kudi Klepto’, a movie directed by Yewande Adekoya in 2013. His role in the movie skyrocketed his acting career and earned him his first award.

Some of the movies he has featured in include; The New Patriots, Bina Baku, Depth, Koto, Igi Aladi, Bipolar (Amodi), Ilu Ominira, Once Upon a Time, Yeye Oge and so on.
