The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has released Prayer Points for Nigeria as it faces unrest in Lagos and some other states and territory.

AllNews understands that protests have spread across Africa's most populous country for two weeks, after a video allegedly showing an officer of the controversial Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) shooting a young man in Ughelli, Delta State, spread across social media, relaunching the viral hashtag #EndSARS.

Despite the dissolving of SARS, the campaign has snowballed, with calls for wider police reforms and instant good governance.

Unrest across Lagos on Tuesday and Wednesday spread as outrage escalated over a shooting incident on peaceful demonstrators against police brutality at Lekki Toll Gate that left many injured and at least one person dead.

General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye had condemned the Tuesday evening attack of #ENDSARS protesters in Lekki, Lagos State.

His church went spiritual and have released prayer points, to help contain the situation in the country.

AllNews obtained these prayer points from RCCG's Open Heavens known website on Wednesday.
