Peruzzi Speaks On Sleeping With Chioma, Tags Allegation 'Crazy'

Nigerian singer and DMW musical act, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has debunked rumours that he slept with Davido's ex-fiance, Chioma Rowland.

Recall that the rumour that Peruzzi and Chioma were having had circulated on the internet and that they were disguising as cousins.

The rumour was further propelled by controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who claimed Chioma sleeps with multiple men, Peruzzi included and also threatened to release the sex tape of Chioma and Peruzzi.

Addressing the rumour in an interview with Chude Jideonnwo, the 'Majesty' crooner described the accusation as absurd and 'crazy'.

“Someone said I had sex with the wife of the man who helped me. Do you know how crazy that is? Even if you hate me, what did Davido do to you? So right now, I am careful of every pin that drops near me."

He also spoke about how his beloved mother had died from cancer two days after he released his 2017 hit single 'For Your Pocket'. The 31-year-old songwriter explained that having his team handle the song’s publicity afforded him the time he needed to grieve. 

"I had my time, I used to cry when I was taking my bath. I used to tell myself till tomorrow morning I am going to cry. Whenever I had the time to take a shower I’ll know that’s my time to cry, and as I’m crying the water is washing everything away. Then I’ll come outside again like it was nothing and back to work. So it was in between that period, that was when Davido posted my song on his Snapchat. I didn’t know him before."

The singer also recounted how he lost the N400,000 sent to him by Davido for a trip to Dubai to an Uber driver.
